Simple Play Kitchen Sink

Wood play kitchen area furnishings can be so pricey. Yet these minature cuties are so simple and fun to construct. We have an entire collection of plans offered online for play cooking areas. This one was built by The Crafting Chicks. To see Grace's initial Playhouse Kitchen sink, scroll down.

Instructions.
ACTION 1.

1. Begin Building package. Begin by attatching A to C as revealed. The bottom of C will rest 1 1/2" from the bottom of C, leaving the precise quantity of area for B, the toekick.

ACTION 2.

2. End up package. Finish attatching the boards as shown, leaving 1/4 inch overhand on the sides of the counter top.

ACTION 3.

3. Counter-Top. I advise connecting the backslash to the counter-top first, then connecting the entire counter-top/backslash unit to the sink base as one. This will leave a 3/4 inch overhand on the front.

ACTION 4.

Here are some extra views. Keep in mind the front of sink is put in.

STEP 5.

ACTION 6.

Sink. Decide what you will be using for a sink. Then cut the hole to fit the sink. I utilized a sink I took off a junk hand-me-down cooking area from my niece. You could also use a metal pan or perhaps a plastic tupperware. Just make sure there is a lip to keep the sink in place. You might even simply add a 3rd shelf to box in the sink.

ACTION 7.

Ending up Instructions.
Preparation Instructions.
Fill any exposed holes with wood filler and let dry. If needed, apply a second coat. Sand with medium grit sandpaper. Clean project and work surface area. Prime and paint as wanted.
Finish Used.
Finishing. Fill any nail holes with wood filler and sand, paint, and delight in! Oh, do not forget to put your sink in (glue not recommended, Grace's is glued in, and it would be nice to be able to take the sink out and clean it).
